This is a word from Pastor
Timothy Burdick, Minister of Abilities for
Friday Study Ministries:
Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the
proper time we will reap a harvest if we do
not give up.”
Have
you ever felt like you were all alone? Have
you ever felt like any Christian work you
attempted was insignificant?
The
apostle Paul is saying in our passage in
Galatians that when no one seems to see you
or your work, God does. You can serve God
with a smile, a kind word, or listening to
another. Often what we think of as big
actions when it comes to service in the
Christian world are really small, because
they are done with mixed motives.
On the
contrary many times an action that seems
small in our sight is voluminous in God’s
sight, because it is done with a pure heart.
So don’t give up if you feel that you are
getting nowhere. Let Paul’s word’s encourage
you today and in God’s time, you will see
the fruit of your labors if you don’t throw
in the towel.
DON'T
GIVE UP.
