FSM Prayers 5/31/09:

Thank You Father, that Todd’s mom did not have a heart attack after all, but it was a chemical imbalance. Please restore this lady who loves You; and may she get the care she needs by her adult children who are her caregivers at this time. Provide for them all. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Almighty God, thank You for successful heart valve surgery for Pastor Timothy. We continue to pray for his recovery without complications. Comfort him & his wife during this recovery time. Please provide the help they need, as he has a guide dog and his wife has disabilities that limit her as a caregiver. Thank You for providing a friend to care for his guide dog, Ansel, during his recovery. We pray for Your Will for all of them. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for Sandy, who is facing more treatment for thyroid cancer and just lost her job. Please give her Your strength, the doctor’s wisdom & skill in treating her, and please restore her health. Provide for her income & medical coverage during this difficult time. Comfort Sandy & her family. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Father, we pray for healing for Myra, who is recovering from colon cancer surgery & will start chemotherapy treatment this week. We pray for minimal side effects & no complications. We pray for Your comfort & strength for her & her husband, as they trust in You for Myra’s healing and restoration. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Almighty God, we pray for comfort for Mary’s family, as they grieve the recent passing of her brother Mark. Provide the guidance & support they need at this difficult time. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord, we pray for Rev. David and his ministry in Kenya. Thank You that Pastor Ron’s ministry and Bible teaching has blessed and inspired Rev. David. Please provide for him and his ministry that cares for 45 orphans. May they grow spiritually and be blessed with all the provisions that they need. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Almighty God, we pray for the upcoming men’s and women’s Walks to Emmaus in Pomona that all goes according to Your Will. Guide the teams as they prepare to serve You and the participants who will attend. May Your spirit and love reign on these weekends and provide healing, restoration and renewed faith to better represent You and express the fruit of the spirit in life. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Father, we pray for Carmen, who was diagnosed with brain & lung cancer. Comfort him & his family. Provide the best medical care for him and heal him. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Almighty God, we pray for Angela and her daughter Cleo, who both have serious health conditions. Please provide the best medical care for them. We pray for correct diagnosis and effective treatment for them. Heal & comfort them both, as they trust in You. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord, we join Rick in praising God and praying for Your continued favor & increase for Gleanings for the Hungry, a ministry of YWAM, serving in Zimbabwe. Provide the laborers and resources to show Your love and share Your provisions with the people and orphans in Zimbabwe. Protect and strengthen those in ministry there as they serve You in very difficult times. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Almighty God, we join Jo in prayer for resolution of the problems caused by gossip in their family members' church. Please bring healing and restoration to this situation. May this congregation learn to see the damage done by gossip and stop participating in it. May they learn to encourage, love and edify one another, as Christ would have them behave. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord, we pray with Debra that her husband will not lose his job, as layoffs are threatened. We pray that You provide the income and resources they need. May they see Your provisions and praise You in the process. Calm and comfort them, as they trust in You. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Almighty God, we pray for Avery, a 4-year old girl who is in treatment for leukemia. Please provide the best medical care for her and heal her from this disease. Comfort Avery & her parents and provide all that they need. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Father, Sal has been on dialysis for 9-years. On June 24 he will travel from Phoenix to Portland to be evaluated for a kidney transplant. We pray the evaluation will be positive and that he will receive the transplant in an operation that will be completely successful. Heal Sal and end his dependence on dialysis. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, Sal’s son, Salvador, Jr. who is age 19 & was born with cancer, had chemo as a baby for a year, has curvature of the spine and cirrhosis of the liver. Additionally, he has a non-malignant tumor in his liver. Sal, Jr. was expected at birth to be paralyzed, but he is not and we thank You, Lord. Right now, we ask for alleviation of his suffering & healing for his body. We also ask with his father that his differences with the Social Security Administration will be resolved & he will be approved to receive income from them. Comfort this young man & his family. Bring peace & healing to them all. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Almighty God, we continue to pray for healing for Pastor Carl from prostate cancer. He is near the end of radiation treatment & needs Your strength and his energy restored. We pray for Your comfort & provisions for him and his wife. May he be cancer-free soon. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we pray with Carol that her faith will increase, her coping skills will improve, and that she will either find a compatible roommate or find peace in living alone. Bless Carol, fill her with faith in God, comfort her and give her Your peace. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, Roy wants to go back to his home and visit his mother, but he has great anxiety in airports. Please heal Roy of his fear and enable him to visit his mother. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, thank You, that John's knee has recovered. Please help him as he continues with physical therapy. May he continue to get stronger and gain full mobility again. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, after 25-years of ministry, Pastors Doug & Valerie are relocating to a new area and new leadership will lead their church. Comfort them and this congregation as they part long-time relationships. Bless and protect the new pastors and guide and bless Pastors Doug & Valerie in their new home. May all go according to Your Will. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we pray with Steven for team members for the next Kairos Prison Ministry weekend scheduled for August in the Victorville Federal Prison. Please guide Steven as he leads this developing team & provide a full team that will minister in Your love to participating inmates. Protect & bless them, workers, prison staff and inmates alike. Lead many to Christ & may they grow in faith. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, we continue to pray for healing for Jon from ear surgery to improve his hearing. His heal process is longer than expected, but his surgeon encourages him that it’s okay. We pray the packing will soon be removed from his ear & his hearing will be fully restored. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Dear Lord, we continue to pray for healing & strength for Tim, who has metastasized liver cancer. We pray for Your guidance for his doctors in the best treatment. Comfort Tim, his wife & family and provide the support needed for their family. We pray for Your Will. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Almighty God, we continue to pray for Charlie, as he waits for a liver transplant. He just had a special chemo treatment to kill the tumors in his liver. Give him strength, ease his pain and provide the finances & support his family needs. Please heal & restore his health. Comfort Charlie, his wife Theresa, as they trust in You. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we continue to pray for Linda’s recovery from breast cancer surgery. We pray there are no complications & her health is fully restored. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Almighty God, we continue to pray for Don’s brother Mark, who is recovering from surgery for a re-occurring brain tumor. Comfort Mark & his family as they face another critical health crisis. We pray for Mark’s healing and restoration. Provide all that they need. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we continue to pray for Michael, who needs a good working car to do ministry work he has committed to this summer. Please provide the resources to repair his current car or replace it with a reliable one. Bless him. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord, we continue to pray for Don, who is consulting with several doctors to discern the course of treatment best for his condition. We pray that You will reveal to them what should be done. Cause them to follow Your Will & we ask for a complete healing for Don. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Father, we continue to pray for Sally, who must lose weight before having hip replacement surgery in August. Thank You that she has lost 15 pounds already; help her to continue per her doctors instructions. May all go according to Your Will. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we pray for Dess, who just recommitted his life to the Lord and has asked for prayer to grow strong in the Lord. Thank You for his recommitment to You. Please meet this desire & may he grow in faith and be an Ambassador of Christ to this world, according to Your Will. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Almighty God, we pray for Shirley, who will have breast cancer surgery June 22 for breast cancer. We pray for Your healing touch, guide the doctors and restore her health. Comfort her and her family at this difficult time. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord, we continue to pray for our Uganda friends, Robert & Winnie, for God’s provision. Please provide the funds for their 5-children’s school tuition, books & uniforms. Bless them as they minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to others & encourage others in their walk of faith. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Father, we continue to pray for Bob and the Aloha Outreach, as they go to Waikiki from July 16-23 to evangelize in the streets with Hawaiian Bible literature. We pray for God’s guidance and provisions for the mainland team and the Hawaii team as they minister to the people in Oahu. Together may they bless the Lord and win souls for Him. Father, we continue to pray for Pastor Rick & Cindy, who are scheduled to leave as missionaries for Northern Ireland on June 9th. May their visas be approved in time. We pray for Cindy's parents, Fred and Vernie, as they prepare for their daughter Cindy & their son-in-law, Rick, who will be leaving to be support staff at a church in Ireland. We pray for Cindy's mom, who struggles with a COPD health condition. We pray for God’s continued blessings upon all of them. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord, we continue to pray for Cherie, who is going through difficult times right now. Please guide her as she transitions through some difficult changes in her life. Help her to find just the right roommate for her situation. Comfort her. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Father, we continue to pray for Mazvita’s husband, a pastor of a church in Zimbabwe, as he ministers to Your people, while his wife is attending seminary in the U.S for her doctorate in pastoral care. We pray for Mazvita to do well in her course of study, as well as, their daughters, who are with her, to do well in school and make new friends. We pray for God’s provisions and comfort for this family, as they are separated for a time by distance. Please enable a visit to happen for this family and provide the funds and time for Mazvita’s husband to visit his family in the States. Bless this family who loves You. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Almighty God, we lift-up Mazvita's prayer for her country, Zimbabwe, & join her in asking for Your intervention with Zimbabwe’s difficult economic challenges, poor governance, HIV/AIDS pandemic & the Cholera outbreak that has killed over 3000 people since November 2008. We pray for political leadership that puts the interests & welfare of the citizens ahead of self interests. Please send Your resources to this land, bring healing & restoration to its people & their country. May many come to faith in Jesus Christ through Your Holy Spirit & the work of Your people. Father, we continue to pray for Sherry, diagnosed with skin cancer that has spread to lung cancer. We pray for her & her husband, Dennis that You will provide all they need. Give her doctors wisdom in her care. We join this loving husband who also loves You, in asking for Your healing hand to touch his wife, Sherry, and heal her. Comfort them in this difficult time. Father, we continue to pray for Mike healing from lung cancer surgery. We pray Mike will be restored & that there are no complications in his recovery. Help him to stop smoking.
